The Custom Hat Experience is a unique offering designed to provide a memorable gift for your loved ones. This immersive process allows the recipient to create a fully Italian custom-made hat, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology to ensure a personalized and engaging experience.
The Process
- Initial Consultation: We begin with a preliminary design meeting to discuss preferences and style.
- Crafting Updates: Throughout the 4-6 week production period, we provide weekly video updates via WhatsApp, showcasing the hat-making process.
- Virtual Workshop: Customers can book a live Google Meet session to watch part of their hat being made and ask questions in real-time.
- Fitting: We conduct a fitting session, either in-person or remotely, to ensure the perfect fit. For remote fittings, we’ll ship the hat-in-progress to you and schedule a virtual meeting to check the work together. You’ll then ship the hat back to us. All costs are included in the Siena package; unfortunately, they’re not included in the Florence package.
- Final Delivery: The completed custom hat is delivered, ready to be enjoyed.

Why are the customization options limited in this plan?
These plans are designed to provide an all-inclusive custom hat experience that can be gifted from start to finish. For more extensive customization, we offer a bespoke option by quotation. You can always use this plan as credit towards a fully bespoke option or a higher-tier plan.
How does remote fitting work?
For remote fittings, we’ll send the hat with detailed instructions for a home fitting. The milliner responsible for your hat will join you on a video call to ensure we understand any adjustments that need to be made.
What is your return policy?
As with all our custom products, there is no return policy. We are artisans offering a unique experience, tailoring a special product designed around you. Therefore, returns are not possible.
Why does the process take 4-6 weeks?
We prioritize quality over speed, using traditional techniques and tools to craft each hat to the highest standards. This process inherently requires time and cannot be rushed without compromising the end product. However, we keep you engaged throughout with weekly updates and the option to watch part of the hat-making process live.
