MILLINERY SCHOOL
Hatmaking classes at our Vancouver atelier
In the Bertacchi family, the craft has always been taught the same way: at the workbench, beside someone who has practised it for years. Our Millinery School carries that tradition to 151 Cambie Street, in three forms: a seasonal class in a small group, a private course built around you, or a private session for an occasion of your own.
OUR CLASSES

GROUP CLASSES
Four Monday evenings · Up to 6 participants
A different style each season, made over four evenings in a small group. Each class follows a single hat from first cut to finished piece, leaving time to learn every stage properly.
- 4 evenings × 3 hours, 5–8 pm
- All materials and tools included
- No experience needed

PRIVATE COURSE
Three days · One student
Three days at the workbench with master milliner Adi Bertacchi, shaped entirely around your level and the hat you want to make. The most complete way to learn the fundamentals.
- 18 hours, Tuesday to Thursday
- Dates arranged around your availability
- All materials and tools included

PRIVATE EXPERIENCES
For an occasion · Your guests only
The atelier reserved for you and the people you choose: a couple, a bridal party, a team. A few hours of hatmaking together, and something handmade to take home.
- For two, bridal parties, teams and celebrations
- Format and pricing on request
- No experience needed
